Absolutely loved staying here! Cannot fault it! It was my favourite stay during our 2 weeks in Thailand, and if I ever return to Bangkok, I'll be staying here! It's like stepping back in time, a real cosy, vintage feel to the place, an absolute haven from the hustle & bustle of the streets. The building work opposite does not cause any issues at all. Jason & his staff were amazing, fantastic service, kind, helpful & always felt very safe. Definitely book onto the night bike tour - it was one of the highlights of our trip! The room we stayed in was perfect (King Suite), loved the quirky layout, and all the attention to detail - including the little gifts they left daily in our room, this was so lovely, a real personal touch, thank you.The bed was really comfy, great shower as well. Amazing breakfast (had a great gluten free menu). Thank you for an amazing stay. The location is in old Bangkok, which was perfect - it's walking distance to Khaosan Road, and loads of other great places, there's also bus stop nearby and the canal.

We traveled around Thailand for 3 weeks and this was the first place we stayed - it was also hands down one of the best! It is an absolutely beautiful building with really well-appointed/decorated rooms, lovely staff, and one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The room was beautiful and spacious, with a lovely bathroom and a big shower. The location was excellent - about a 5-minute walk from the canal ferries, and loads of Grabs around. We tended to use Grabs for the ease and cost of them but you could just as easily use public transport. The staff were always quick to offer advice and help plan out a day - it was a really enjoyable stay. There's a load of roadworks outside at the mo as they're building a new subway line, but despite it being noisy outside, you barely even know it's happening inside. Don't let it put you off, we still got a great night's sleep every time!

Jason and his staff were exceptionally helpful and kind, and from the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcomed and appreciated as guests. Our room was lovely, and there were too many special little details to count. It was very clean, the decor was beautiful and interesting, and our kids were thrilled to sleep in the adorable loft bedroom. Breakfast was simply fantastic, and Jason had a takeaway morning breakfast packed for us on the morning we had to be at the airport bright and early. We stayed in multiple places in Thailand over our month of travel, and this was, without a doubt, the best accommodation of our trip. We wish we could come stay again soon!

We had a garden suite room which was set on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel. The room was perfect and very nicely decorated. Breakfast was pre ordered the night before to be served at a time of your choosing. There was a large selection of items both western and Thai to choose from. All the staff were friendly, engaging and happy to help. As our flight wasn’t until the evening we were kindly allowed to use a room to shower and freshen up after our last day in Bangkok. Booked a taxi via the hotel at a good fixed price to take us to the airport. We booked this hotel after a month in Thailand as we felt we deserved a little luxury before heading home. It was indeed a great choice.

We will be back in Bangkok and we will be staying here. I don’t want to add this detail to the negative section because it’s not but a word of warning. The steps to the bathroom, I did tell you this place was unique, are quite steep. I only state this for the operators to avoid any unnecessary bad reviews because of someone being unable to get to the bathroom.
